1. Introduction
Welcome to Espiritu, a brand dedicated to slow fashion and artisan craftsmanship. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline the terms under which we operate and manage your orders.2. Artisanal Products
Our shoes are handcrafted by skilled artisans in Mexico. Due to the nature of the artisanal process, variations in dye, color, and texture may occur across different batches of products. These variations are not considered defects but rather a reflection of the unique, handcrafted nature of each item.
3. Size and Fit
While we strive for consistency across all our artisans' workshops, slight variations in size and fit may occur. Our shoes are made with natural materials, such as leather, which may stretch and mold to your feet over time. We recommend consulting our size guide and using your foot measurements to select the best fit. For customers wearing half sizes, please note that some of our collections, such as the 1st generation models, are narrower than our 2.0 models.
4. Pre-Orders
At Espiritu, we offer a pre-order model for certain products. This allows us to gauge demand and create items to order, avoiding overproduction. If you place a pre-order, please note that the expected shipping date will be communicated at checkout and in your order confirmation. Pre-orders typically ship in approximately 3 weeks, though production times may vary due to material availability or other factors.
5. Manufacturing and Shipping Delays
Our commitment to quality means that delays may occasionally occur due to sourcing materials or the availability of specific artisanal workshops. While we do our best to meet estimated timelines, unexpected delays in production or shipping, particularly with international orders, may arise. We are not responsible for delays related to international customs processing, which can extend shipping times beyond our control.
6. Customs and Duties
For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country’s customs authorities. Espiritu is not responsible for any delays or additional costs that occur due to international customs processes.
7. Pricing Errors
Occasionally, pricing errors may occur on our website. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or technical error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for that product. If your order is canceled due to a pricing error, we will notify you and issue a full refund for any amount paid.8. Refunds and Returns
Sale Items: All sale items are final and non-refundable. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for products purchased at a discounted price unless the product is defective.
Regular-Priced Items: For non-sale items, returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of receipt, provided the product is unworn and in its original condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or we made an error in the order.
All returns and exchanges need to be processed directly on our Returns & Exchanges Portal.
Purchases made in Mexico cannot be exchanged or refunded in the USA, as the stores operate under different jurisdictions both legally and financially.
9. Cancellation Policy
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase unless they have already entered the shipping process. Pre-orders can only be canceled before production has begun.
10. Shipping Policy

11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from your use of our site or your purchase of our products will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of California.
